Introducing Myself ;)
Well it looks like I have joined the rest of the world and have finally got myself to sit down and create a blog. It seriously is quite an accomplishment! LOL
So I guess I should probably tell you all something about me. Im a complex gal, raised in a small Illinois town and now living in Chicago. I came up here for college and never looked back. I love the big city and all it has to offer, yet I still like the suburbs where you can get out and be a tomboy and enjoy the open space.
Im an artist, always have been & always will be. It's in my blood. I went to the Illinois Institute of Art and got my degree in Advertising/Visual Communications and now work at a video game company. Yep that's right, I design video games for a living for EA Chiacgo :) I LOVE it, it's the most challenging and fun job I could think of having and everyone I work with is really cool. It's like one big crazy ass family. The last game I worked on was Fight Night Round 3 and now I'm working on the DefJam 3 Title.
My other passion other than the design that I do at work is my dogs. I adore them! What? Why? Because they make me laugh every single day and they love the hell out of me, that's why. Who wouldn't love a 28lb French Bulldog that snorts & sneezes and farts so bad that you have to clear the room! LOL. He's the most adorable creature I have ever laid eyes on. Im so much in love with him that I volunteer my time for a Frenchie Rescue called French Bulldog Connection Rescue that helps find homes for Frenchies that come into the rescue.
I also do a wide variety of dog artwork and illustrations. I do have an online store at CafePress called BarkArt, where you can find different breeds of dog designs that I have created. www.cafepress.com/barkart
I also do comission pieces of portraits that people want me to do of their pets. I have done about a dozen of those so far and they are by far my favorite of all my designs and take the longest.
So that pretty much wraps up a little bit about me, well where I came from and my utmost passions anyways ;) I'll post more soon about my artwork or whatever I'm in the mood for that day.
